We have particular expertise in nonprofit galas and fundraising events, where success directly fuels meaningful missions. One of our long-standing clients, Nourishing Hope, a hunger-relief organization that also provides wraparound social services and community connections, hosts an annual gala to help support their mission of providing hunger relief to Chicago neighbors in need. We begin planning several months in advance, coordinating the details for an event that typically welcomes more than 600 guests. Our work includes vendor and venue coordination, creation of marketing and promotional materials, and day-of logistics, including stage management of the program. This event is no small feat—Nourishing Hope raised over $1 million at their last two galas.

Another valued client, the Walder Foundation, is a family foundation dedicated to uplifting scientific innovation, environmental sustainability, the performing arts, migration and immigrant communities, and Jewish life. Each year, they host the Biota Awards, a celebration recognizing five to six early-career researchers whose groundbreaking work advances biodiversity conservation locally and globally. Awardees also receive grants to fund their ongoing research and conservation projects. We start our work months in advance to secure a venue, manage vendor and venue coordination, oversee guest lists and RSVPs, and handle all day-of logistics, including registration, vendor management, and stage management. A significant element of this collaboration is our video work. Under the direction of our Creative Director, Kevin Kujuwa, JT produced a series of engaging, heartfelt videos highlighting each awardee’s research and passion.
